Hi! Iā€™m Lisa Clarke, a multimedia content producer and communications expert based in Albury, NSW. I work closely with businesses, organisations and media outlets to produce quality content that engages with stakeholders and the community in a meaningful way.

My work has been published and screened both nationally and internationally including for ABC News, The Guardian Australia, The Sydney Morning Herald, Radio National, The Australian, The Courier Mail, The Daily Telegraph, The Herald Sun, The Sun (UK), The New York Times Lens blog, Buzzfeed, Vogue, and PetaPixel.

Some of the organisations I have collaborated with include Queensland Health, New South Wales Health, Council for Intellectual Disability, Northcott, Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability, Academy of Social Sciences Australia and more.

In 2020 I joined the Down Syndrome Australia team as Managing Editor for their national magazine Voice, and shortly after took on the role as Senior Communications and Engagement Manager.

Some of my accolades include being a finalist in 2009 for the Queensland Media Awards young journalist of the year category, a finalist in 2011 for the National Geographic photo contest from over 40,000 entries, winning the 2012 Rural Press Award for best people photograph, and in both 2013 and 2014 winning the Clarion award for best photographic essay of the year. More recently, I joined the Down Syndrome Australia CEO and only Board member with Down syndrome at the United Nations in New York at the Conference of State Parties to produce on-the-ground communications.
