Lisa’s work has been published and screened both nationally and internationally including in The Australian, ABC, ABC News 24, The Drum, Radio National, The Courier Mail, The Daily Telegraph, The Herald Sun, The Sun (UK), The New York Times Lens blog, Buzzfeed, Vogue, and PetaPixel.

She graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Photography, completing a double major in photojournalism and visual culture. While studying, she began a photography cadetship with the Gold Coast Bulletin. The following year in 2007 Lisa began working at The Courier Mail in Brisbane as a news photographer, covering events across the state of Queensland. In 2012 she became a multimedia producer for the ABC. 

Some of her accolades include being a finalist in 2009 for the Queensland Media Awards young journalist of the year category, a finalist in 2011 for the National Geographic photo contest from over 40,000 entries, winning the 2012 Rural Press Award for best people photograph, and in both 2013 and 2014 winning the Clarion award for best photographic essay of the year.  

She is currently based in Sydney working as a digital editor for ABC International's Australia Plus website, where she is creating and curating multimedia content about and for Asia-Pacific audiences.
